Terms of Service

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. By creating an account or using the Soshy mobile application ("Service"),
you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use Soshy.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Soshy - Events & Clubs ("Soshy", "we", "us").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you can form a binding contract with Soshy, that you accept these Terms,
and that you agree to comply with them. Your access to and use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy and any in-app
safety, reporting, and moderation rules.
Zero Tolerance: We do not allow objectionable content or abusive behavior on Soshy. Violations may result in
content removal, account restrictions, suspension, or permanent bans.
2. Eligibility
You are not authorized to create an account or use the Service unless all of the following are true:
- You are at least 13 years of age.
- You have not been previously removed or banned from our Service.
- You are not a convicted sex offender.
- You have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into this Agreement and to abide by all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
3. Accounts & Security
Account Integrity: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process
and to update such information to keep it accurate.
Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. You agree that you will not disclose your
password to any third party and that you will take sole responsibility for any activities or actions under your account,
whether or not you have authorized such activities.
4. Content & License
Your Content: You retain all rights and ownership of your photos, text, and other content ("User Content").
License to Soshy: By posting content, you grant Soshy a worldwide, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free right
and license to host, store, use, copy, display, reproduce, adapt, edit, publish, modify, and distribute your content.
This license is for the limited purpose of operating, developing, providing, and improving the Service.
Monitoring & Removal: We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, review, and remove User Content at any time.
We may remove or limit visibility of any content that violates these Terms, our safety rules, or applicable law, or that we reasonably
believe is objectionable or harmful.
No Obligation to Publish: You acknowledge that we are not required to host, display, or distribute any User Content
and may take action without prior notice where safety is concerned.
5. User Conduct (Prohibited Activities)
You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Harassment: Stalking, bullying, threatening, or intimidating any other user.
- Hate Speech: Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or dehumanization based on protected characteristics.
- Sexual Content: Pornography, sexual exploitation, or non-consensual sexual content.
- Violence & Threats: Threats of harm, encouragement of violence, or graphic violence.
- Privacy Violations: Sharing personal data of others without consent (e.g., phone numbers, addresses, IDs), doxxing, or blackmail.
- Spam & Scams: Spam, fraud, phishing, or deceptive practices.
- Persistent Unwanted Contact: Repeated unwanted messages, stalking behaviors, or attempts to contact users who have asked you to stop.
- Impersonation: Pretending to be another person or entity.
- Illegal Content: Posting content that promotes illegal acts.
- Commercial Use: Soliciting money, selling products, or using the Service for commercial purposes without our consent.
- Technical Abuse: Scraping, reverse engineering, or attempting to compromise the security of the Service.
Enforcement: Violation of these rules may result in content removal, warnings, temporary restrictions, temporary suspension,
or permanent account termination, including for repeat violations.
6. Objectionable Content, Reporting, Blocking & Moderation
The Service contains user-generated content (“UGC”), including profiles, photos, event listings, reviews, and messages.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users.
A. Reporting Objectionable Content
Users can report content or accounts directly within the App (e.g., from a content menu or user profile).
Reports may include a category selection and optional text. We review reports as part of our trust and safety operations.
B. Blocking Abusive Users
Users can block other users within the App. When you block someone:
- The blocked user will be prevented from contacting you where applicable.
- The blocked user’s content will be removed from your feed/experience as soon as possible.
- We may record the block for enforcement and safety purposes and to help detect abusive patterns.
Blocking actions may also generate a safety signal for our moderation team so we can detect and act on abusive behavior.
C. Filtering and Safety Controls
We use a combination of automated and manual tools to help detect and reduce objectionable content, including spam/abuse signals and report-based review.
No system is perfect; users should report any content they believe violates these Terms.
In some cases, we may temporarily limit visibility of reported content while it is under review.
D. 24-Hour Action Commitment
We commit to acting on valid reports of objectionable content or abusive behavior within 24 hours.
Actions may include removing content, restricting accounts, suspending users, or permanently banning repeat offenders.
E. Consequences and Account Termination
We may remove any content that violates these Terms, and we may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion for safety reasons,
including immediate termination for severe violations.

7. In-Person Meetups & Safety Warning
WARNING: Soshy facilitates real-world events and meetups.
WE DO NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS on our users.
You agree that you are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. You understand that Soshy does not inquire into the backgrounds
of all of its users or attempt to verify the statements of its users.
Soshy makes no representations or warranties as to the conduct of users or their compatibility with any current or future users.
You agree to take reasonable precautions in all interactions with other users, particularly if you decide to meet offline or in person.
8. Messaging Policy
Messaging is a core feature for coordination. Please note:
- Messages are encrypted in transit and at rest, but are not end-to-end encrypted.
- We prioritize community safety. Authorized staff may review messages if flagged for severe violations (e.g., terrorism, child safety, imminent harm) to comply with legal obligations.
9. Purchases & Refunds
If you purchase a subscription or premium feature:
- Billing: Payments are processed via third-party stores (Apple App Store / Google Play). Their terms apply.
- Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Refunds: Refunds are handled by the respective App Store in accordance with their policies. Soshy generally does not offer direct refunds.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Soshy, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents,
from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal and accounting fees)
arising out of or in any way connected with:
- Your access to or use of the Service;
- Your User Content, including any allegation that your User Content infringes or violates the rights of a third party;
- Your interactions with other users (including in-person meetups and events);
- Your violation of these Terms, our safety rules, or applicable laws and regulations.
We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you,
and in such case, you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claim.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOSHY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES,
WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR ALWAYS AVAILABLE.
Soshy does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content or statements made by users.
You understand that your use of the Service and any reliance on content is at your own risk.
Soshy is not responsible for the conduct of users on or off the Service, including at in-person events.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SOSHY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES,
OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES,
RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE;
OR (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.
IN NO EVENT SHALL SOSHY'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID SOSHY, IF ANY,
IN THE PAST SIX (6) MONTHS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Republic of Türkiye,
without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Venue: Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction
of the courts located in Istanbul, Türkiye.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
